Zach searches for stories and turns them into podcasts.

Zach St. Louis is an audio producer, reporter, and editor who is drawn to narrative work that attempts to make sense of society and ourselves. He has reported on things like a fake presidential candidate, a teenage pop star, and organized crime in Ohio. Zach’s work has appeared on NPR, Serial Productions, Vox Media, Spotify, CNN, the Financial Times, and more. Currently, he is a senior producer at Truth Media.

Zach is a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and the University of Pennsylvania. He now calls New York City home.

I produced this series about organized crime and political corruption in Youngstown, Ohio. It was distributed by Sony Music Entertainment and named one of Vulture’s best podcasts of 2022.

I reported and voiced this story about a fictional Democratic candidate for president in 1988 for NPR’s All Things Considered.

I produced and helped launch CNN’s Webby Award-winning daily Covid podcast hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

I was a producer on this Spotify original podcast series documenting the life of a teenage indie star and the making of her first album.

I reported this story about high school students working to combat racism in their majority-white community.
